About Us

I started Zephyr Botanicals as a means to practice care and presence in my era of motherhood. Skincare is one of many small acts that can demonstrate love to yourself and to others.

I’ve been making tallow balms used by our whole family, something simple yet effective to moisturize dry skin, soothe cracks and wounds, and to feed nourishment to the skin despite the stressors of life. But what surprised me wasn't just that they worked. It was the ritual of making them. The slow measuring. The scent of the essential oils filling the kitchen. The way I smile and reconnect to my breath in that pause of meticulously and carefully blending the oil base with the tallow.

I wanted to build something that honored that pause and made space for me to be present with my child. Not self-care as another task to optimize, but care as a practice of presence. Your senses are doorways—scent, touch. When you engage them, you remember what it feels like to be here, in your body, moving through life.

Zephyr means "a gentle breeze"—the kind that shifts the air just enough to remind you that you are alive. That's what I want these products to be. A small, sensory invitation to slow down. To notice. To let healing reach you through something as simple as rubbing balm into your hands or on your loved ones.

That’s why these products are made for the whole family. Each batch is by hand in small runs because ritual isn’t rushed. I source and render grass-fed tallow, use organic essential oils, and blend with the cleanest ingredients I can find—not to sell you a story, but because I use these on my own skin and my child’s skin, and I won't compromise on that.

My philosophy for Zephyr Botanicals is simple. Life's experiences should invoke daily rituals of restoration and connection. If you need permission to claim a quiet moment to care for yourself and your loved ones, consider this it. I hope you love the product as much as I do.
